‘Planting Partnerships’ is the name of the conference implemented by the ‘Novi Sad 2021’ Foundation with the aim to build new partnerships.
Danube AiR meeting was held during the first part of the conference from 4 until 7 November, within which representatives of residential programmes from Serbia and abroad shared their knowledge and practical advice.
Five representatives of residential programmes from the Danube region met with representatives of residential programmes from Novi Sad and Belgrade. They focused on the topic of organisation of successful residential programme within which they discussed finances, relations with artists, designing the concept of residences, management of spaces and promotion of residences.
Representatives of residential programmes from the Danube region met with members of Likovni Krug, artistic colony at the Petrovaradin Fortress. The aim of the meeting is to get advice from foreign associates, as experienced organisers of residential programmes, for more active participation of ‘Likovni Krug’ art colony in the residential programme.
The second part of the ‘Planting Partnerships’ programme will be held from 26 until 29 November and it will be dedicated to connecting cultural institutions from Novi Sad with partners from Europe in order to jointly develop project ideas and apply for European Union funds with the aim to encourage cooperation and internationalisation of culture, which are important goals of the ‘Novi Sad 2021’ Foundation.
On the second conference day, cultural institutions will work one on one with its partners, present results of work and planned cooperation to the Foundation team.
