On Wednesday, 23 May 2018, the Marketing Day 2018 was held in the Centre of Novi Sad, Singidunum University. Students’ competition on the topic of ‘Marketing in urban culture of the city of Novi Sad’ was held. The Marketing Day was supported by the ‘Novi Sad 2021 – European Capital of Culture’ Foundation, and Dr Lazar Jovanov, artist programme manager, presented future activities of the Foundation.
Students’ competition was organised with the aim of creating activities that would contribute to better positioning of cultural and historical values of Novi Sad and their valorisation through tourist offer. The main project holders would be young people, while one of the goals was to enable students to suggest ways for encouraging participation of young people in creative, digital industries. The idea is to integrate some of the projects represented into the ‘construction’ plan of the European Capital of Culture.
The students who participated were from Belgrade and Novi Sad and jury members were: Dušan Vuković, Head of the Department for Marketing and Production of the ‘Novi Sad 2021’ Foundation, Filip Ruvinov, Assistant to the Programme Director of the ‘Novi Sad 2021’ Foundation, Vukašin Grozdanović ‘OPENS 2019’ coordinator and Aleksandar Mihajlović, Art Director of the Singidunum University.
